Great camping advice...

So I was reading a post on Facebook by Camping In Tents and they asked everyone to give one piece of advice to a first time camper. I went with the obvious (learned by experience) "Don't forget the rain fly", but then I saw someone posted this beauty and had to share it for anyone attempting spring camping. Wet wood and unexpectied rain is always a possibility this time of year so here is a great idea:

"Waterproof strike anywhere matches by dipping the ends in melted parafin. You can get it at any craft store. Also best fire starter for any weather. Fill the individual sections of a cardboard egg container each with sawdust then pour in melted parafin to top. Seperate when solid. The cardboard from the egg container lights easily and the melting wax and saw dust make a nice little fire starter rain, shine or wind. Works like a charm!"

Genius! I am totally making these a part of my camping box :)
Happy Spring everyone!
